Raspberry ketone is found in Japanese from raspberry (a small fruit of Rosaceae) and has a good function of decomposing and transforming fat. It is called “natural fat conversion factor”.

Japanese scholars found that 24 healthy women took 200 mg of raspberry ketone daily for 6 weeks and then tested the body fat content. The results showed that the basal metabolism of each subject increased by 8.9% on average, the body weight per capita decreased by 1.3%, the body fat content decreased by about 1% on average, and the waist circumference decreased by 1.5cm on average, but the hip circumference did not change. The effect of reducing visceral fat is more pronounced than the effect of reducing subcutaneous fat. It can be seen that raspberry ketone has a certain weight loss effect.

It is mostly used to prepare fruit flavors such as pineapple, peach, strawberry, and plum. The amount used in chewing gum is 40~320mg/kg; 54mg/kg in baked food; 44mg/kg in candy; 34mg/kg in cold drink; 16mg/kg in soft drink; 5.0~50mg/kg in pudding.

[4] It is widely used in edible flavors such as strawberries, raspberries, pineapples, and peaches. It is usually used as a flavoring agent in fruity flavors. It can be used in the formulation of jasmine, gardenia, and tuberose in daily fragrance.
